Trophy Night

Megan's soccer team had a great end of season party at a local pizza shop. We ate lots of pizza and enjoyed watching the girls receive their trophies. My little girl was gleaming with joy when she finally received her trophy. We are so proud of Megan and are very excited about the Spring Soccer Season.

Where has the time gone .....

Well once again time has slipped by so very fast and I can hardly believe it. November was a whirlwind month and just as fast as it came... it went so to speak. Megan finally wrapped up a great year of U10 Soccer.. her first year. I think overall her team won 6 games, lost 3 and tied 2 games. The West Metro Robins did VERY well considering this was the first season of soccer for many of the girls including Megan. After such a successful game, our little soccer girl has decided she would like to play again. Wooo hoooo!
Here is Megan with her great-grandmother & my grandmother "Big Nana" at one of her last games.

Fall Fun

I will venture to say that fall is probably the best season of all for me and the family. Not only is it gorgeous outside but the weather is cooler, which I LOVE! One of the most fun times for the kids is trick-or-treating. How fun it is for the kids to dress up in fun costumes and walk 10 miles while gathering all the tooth-decaying morsels available to them?? This year for Halloween Megan decided to dress up as "Sharpay" from Disney's High School Musical and Caleb decided to be "Spiderman". Both kids morphed into character quickly and boy did they crack me up. Nothing like your little guy dressing up in blue tights and a checkered beanie and taking on the persona of a web-producing super hero. More good times indeed!

Pumpkin Carving

Making memories while carving a pumpkin... always more to see the delight in the children's faces. Happy times indeed.

It's Winnie the Pooh ... sort of.

My little chef

One Friday evening as I was preparing dinner my little man, Caleb, decided he was going to help in the kitchen. Both my kiddos absolutely love being in the kitchen. So any opportunity the kids have they jump on it. As I was busy cooking away Caleb grabbed ALL the pots and pans I was not using and decided to cook a yummy salad a.k.a."sow wed". He needed some ingredients so he grabbed all leftover celery and began making his masterpiece of a dish.

"Wook mommy, it's my sow wed... you want to eat my sow wed?"
